About Taxibank
Taxibank has been trading since 2001 and provides a national taxi booking service for corporate entities. Our clients currently include the BBC, the RAC, Nokia, Royal Bank of Scotland, Green Flag, the AA, HM Revenue and Customs, the NHS, GB Railfreight, EWS trains and 1st Group.
Since the commencement of trading we have built a national network of in excess of 600 taxi companies which provides access to in excess of 45,000 vehicles. Through this network we are able to offer an un-paralleled service covering the whole of mainland UK and Northern Ireland.
We only use fully licensed operators who are contracted to us for the provision of this service. As part of the contract process operators must provide us with details of their fleet, their operators license, their individual drivers operator licenses and relevant insurances. All drivers who undertake work on our behalf must be properly presented in late model cars and we have a strict non smoking policy.
Operators are spot checked on a regular basis and coupled with our ISO 9001 quality management process this ensures that the highest quality of service is maintained.
Once a booking has been made to our call centre by email, fax etc, one of our booking team will broker it to find the best match within our contracted operator network. The booking is placed by us via telephone and confirmed by fax to the operator ensuring that they receive all relevant details and a confirmation of our purchase order.
On completion of a job we are billed by the taxi company. We provide you with one invoice bi-weekly or monthly for all work carried out nationally. The invoice is broken down by cost centre (if applicable) and backed up by electronic details of all journeys undertaken on your behalf.
