BUSINESS TRAVEL & MEETINGS SHOW ANNOUNCES AN EXCLUSIVE PARTNERSHIP WITH ITM

The Business Travel & Meetings Show (BTMS), the UK’s premier business travel and meetings trade show, has announced the signing of an exclusive two-year deal with the Institute of Travel and Meetings (ITM).

ITM, the leading professional body for buyers, managers and suppliers of business travel and meetings in the UK and Ireland and long-time supporter of BTMS, has entered into an agreement with the show organiser, Centaur Travel Group (CTG), to become the show’s exclusive association partner. The partnership signifies the importance of the show in the industry calendar, underlines the changes BTMS made at the 2010 event and recognises the importance of the long term trend of convergence of the business travel and meetings sectors

‘BTMS has recognised the convergence of business travel and meetings & events and is building an exhibition which takes into account the future,’ commented Paul Tilstone, Chief Executive of ITM. ‘We are glad to support an event that recognises the needs of ITM members and we look forward to contributing to the ongoing development of the UK’s largest business travel & meetings exhibition.’

This landmark agreement recognises BTMS as the only exhibition that ITM will be supporting. The partnership has been developed to offer a wide range of benefits to ITM members at the event in February 2011. This includes the extension of the successful ITM Village for suppliers and the Executive Buyer programme for buyers. ITM will also be working across other CTG brands including the BT Club and BT Update as well as other partnership elements to be announced by ITM and CTG in the coming months.
