BUSINESS TRAVEL & MEETINGS SHOW ANNOUNCES HOSTED EXECUTIVE BUYER PROGRAMME

The Business Travel & Meetings Show (BTMS), the largest corporate travel and meetings event in Europe, is launching a Hosted Executive Buyer Programme in conjunction with sister event the European Travel Buyer Awards.
The programme is an extension of the show’s Executive Buyer Programme, which launched in 2009 and, following significant investment from show organiser Centaur Travel Group, increased the number of top level buyers attending the show by almost 130 percent in 2010, year on year.
“BTMS invested heavily in its Executive Buyer Programme this year and, as a result, brought in hundreds of new UK buyers with a purchasing power in excess of £3 million,” commented David Chapple, BTMS event director.
“For 2011, we will build on this success by hosting the crème de la crème of European travel buyers. With both the leading UK and international buyers in the hall, we can’t fail but to further increase the return on investment that BTMS offers exhibitors.”
The BTMS Hosted Executive Buyer Programme includes free flights and accommodation, an invitation to the prestigious European Travel Buyer Awards on Monday 7 February and VIP treatment at BTMS, where buyers can take advantage of two days of quality networking events including buyer-only workshops and access to the leading free-to-attend education programme in Europe, led by industry experts.
A dedicated concierge will create customised itineraries for each buyer ensuring they get the most from their visit. And each buyer will be asked to commit to at least four pre-arranged meetings, guaranteeing BTMS exhibitors to also reap the rewards of having such prestigious buyers in attendance.
