Frasers Hospitality to announce expansion plans

December 14 2007

Frasers Hospitality, one of the leading global providers of luxury serviced residences, will announce its latest expansion plans at the Business Travel Show, as part of the company's target to operate more than 9000 apartments worldwide by 2011. Frasers is rapidly expanding its chain of branded apartments to meet the growing demand for long stay corporate accommodation.

The company will reveal the details of its 23 new properties that will be opened over the next 18 months, including 10 new properties in China, five of which will be open in time for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Frasers already runs eight properties in Europe which operate at an average of 90 percent occupancy. Deals to open further European properties are in discussion in countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Russia and the Czech Republic, as well as other key gateway cities of the United Kingdom.

Additionally, Fraser Place Queens Gate in London, which was launched at last year's Business Travel Show, will have its an official opening ceremony in early 2008, now that the extensive refurbishment undertaken since Frasers took over the building is nearly complete.
