Inntel Signs with Pegasus

Inntel has signed an agreement with Pegasus Solutions to provide its UltraDirect® product connecting Inntel to Pegasus' portfolio of more than 78,000 hotel properties.

Pegasus' UltraDirect will provide Inntel with a reservations interface, which will give greater control and flexibility on hotel bookings. The direct connectivity will allow reservations to be made instantly as all suitable availability will be offered at the press of a button, eliminating the need for further phone calls to be made. All available rates will be displayed, allowing the booker to take advantage of any promotional rates that may match their reservation requirements, although these, of course, may carry restrictions such as pre-payment and no flexibility on cancellations and amendments.

Direct connectivity will ensure that rates offered are always the best available at the time of reservation and that no lower rates will be found through any other distribution channel, giving clients total peace of mind.

The new system will go live shortly for use by Inntel's consultants, with the enhanced on-line booking tool being made available to Inntel's clients shortly thereafter, allowing them to make their own reservations. This will eliminate the need to telephone reservations through as bookings will be made from the bookers desktop.
