Workshop: Creating the building blocks for a better Travel programme


Part 1

10:00 - 11:00 both days

This is the first of two intensive workshops, led by FESTIVE ROAD - experienced and expert business travel professionals. The interactive workshops are designed to provide attendees with an understanding of the foundations and principles behind a successful travel management programme.

Attendees will take away a ‘tool box’ of ideas, resources and information to help take this important aspect of their role, and their companies travel programme to the next level. 

Part 2

11:30 - 12:30 both days

The second part of our 2 interactive workshops, led by FESTIVE ROAD, focuses on communication and the tool box to help set you up to have productive day at the show and help develop your programme when back in the office.

You’ll discover where to find the advice, the suppliers and resources you need to resolve your headaches and enhance your learning. FESTIVE ROAD will be providing activity sheets which will detail the right question to ask, so you get to the heart of your problem quickly and efficiently.

Within the workshop sessions we will cover:

  • Why use a TMC
  • Travel policy creation, compliance management
  • What is Duty of care and why is it important
  • General expense management
  • Why travel spend reporting and data management are important
  • Communication
  • Engaging with your Company management, with skills to ensure support to your travel management programme
  • Engaging with your travellers to ensure success to your travel management programme

This workshop is part of a flexible and practical one-day programme designed to take experienced company travel bookers, PAs, secretaries and office manager to the next level and help to focus on the management principles of business travel. Both sessions on both days will be held in the Hampton theatre.
