What’s keeping you awake at night?
Not much keeps me awake at night but the landscape around distribution has so much change ahead, I’m constantly trying to get my crystal ball out and offer opinion to shape our industry direction and also FCM’s as a business.
What innovation will make the biggest impact on travel management in the next 12 months?
Easy! (FCM plug permitted?) Our integration of our OBT Seeqa directly into the Sam chatbot means FCM travellers will now be able to book every single aspect of travel exactly like they can on the OBT via their smartphone. Game changer!
How will business travel look in 2022?
As busy ever, more dynamic than ever and certainly more millennial than ever…..!
How will managing business travel look in 2022?
More consolidation across supply chain, lot of added content being integrated, more data integration, regional TMC solutions rather than global.

Demand on simplicity, flexibility, increased use of mobile and chat functionality for booking and interaction on the move.
How will we, as an industry, best survive the next three years?
Buyers and suppliers need to work together more for mutual benefit but the supply chain really needs to start working with TMC’s to make sure the end users (bookers, traveller and travel managers) have the best travel experience.
Why do you attend the Business Travel Show?
By far the best event of the year in Europe with unrivalled supplier attendance and educational content all under one roof. The event just gets better year on year and once the very exciting 2019 show is over….. we work towards 2020 and a show that is going to blow everyone away!!
What are you hoping to see on the conference programme this year?
It’s hard for me in my role to spend too much time off the stand but I’m very excited about several of the panel sessions. BTS really does have the best line up ever for the 2019 show and discussing the biggest hot topics at such an important time for the industry overall.
