The Wellness Retreat is a new feature for 2020, that'll help you tackle the physical and mental well-being challenges that you face in your role as a travel professional or travel manager.

From deep vain thrombosis and poor nutrition, to dealing with the stresses of constant delays and time away from home, we'll arm you with the tools you need to improve your travellers' well-being through a series of workshops, seminars and product demonstrations, including:

Business Travel Wellbeing Community was started by a group of like-minded people who wanted to change business travel for the better, and who felt that the best way to go about this was to focus on helping people with their mental health, physical health, jet-lag, sleep management, recovery, thriving and calm mind-sets and cultural intelligence.

Lucy Rattrie

Dr. Lucy Rattrie is a consultant Chartered Psychologist with Creating Sona, and a Lecturer and Researcher at University of Stirling and Management Center Innsbruck. She is a thought leader and positive psychologist, passionate about creating health, happiness and wellbeing, with over ten years of experience helping people thrive when travelling for work and organisations achieve sustainability.

Shizen Nutrition

ShizenShizen Nutrition & Wellbeing is run by Registered Nutritional Therapist, Naomi Jones. Having spent 20 years working in the travel industry and frequently travelling for events, she knows the impact frequent travel has on physical and mental well-being. Over the past 5 years, Naomi has been working with clients on personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes, from increasing energy and vitality, to addressing complex health symptoms and supporting those with chronic disease, to optimising health and well-being. She also offers corporate talks, workshops and online group programmes.

Trip Unwind

Trip UnwindSilvia Vizzoni, founder of Trip Unwind, was desperate to find a solution to the mental and physical stresses that she regularly underwent through travelling for business. She signed up for the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course in 2011, and was staggered by the results.

Silvia is now an associate of London Meditation and a certified Awareness Coach, is training to become an MBSR facilitator and a Mindfulness Teacher, and has launched Trip Unwind in order to help travel professionals become more resilient, present and content.
